I agree with Kaitlin. I like Cody’s art and the things he creates but lately it seems as if he has been asking for money/donations and that makes me feel uncomfortable and I lose respect for him. There are a lot of naive teens out there that worship Cody Weber and hand him money when they could make a difference in the world. I have a job and I go to school. I’m 18 years old and I worked and saved money to buy my Canon AE-1 Program. It feels better when I earn things myself rather then have people hand me money. I’ve also bought my iPhone and I pay my own bills and support myself at 18 years old. I’m currently saving up for a Digital SLR. I can’t wait until the day when I walk out of the store holding it from my hard earned money.A last minute donation causes me to reupload this with more current information.
I cannot thank you guys enough. At the risk of sounding lame, I just wanted to let you guys know that my art continues because you guys pick me up when I feel worthless. $900 is a big deal for me, and to achieve it in such a short time is so overwhelmingly amazing. Thank you so much!
I am not trying to start shit, I swear, but it seems to me that there are a lot more important causes people could be donating their money to right now. It’s not like you are handicapped or anything, you could get a job. It’s not that hard to save $1500. I don’t understand why you can’t just work hard yourself and attain your dreams on your own. If you care about how loss affects the still living, you should let these people donate money to a cause that’s going to save somebody’s life.
I think the concept of the documentary is really interesting, and I’m sure it will be great. I just don’t understand why you are going about it this way.
